MACCK begins Monday, August 28




    • This program is available for all students, preschool through eighth grade, enrolled at Christ the King School.

    • Children are welcome every day as needed. However, no child can be accepted into the program until the emergency contact information form, the MAACK registration form and fees are submitted.

      FEES and RATES

    • Supply fee of $40 is due twice per year, when children begin the program and the first day after Christmas break for students attending daily.

    • Hourly Rates: $5/hour for one child; $8/hour for two children; $11/hour for 3+ children

    • After the first hour, charges will accrue in 30-minute increments, except the last 15 minutes

      of the day.

      • Late charges will be assessed for habitually late pickups as follows: $3/per child assessed in five-minute increments. Discretion will be used in billing for tardiness due to extreme weather conditions, family emergencies, or other similar issues.


      • The MAACK program will be held in the Regency Room.

      • Morning care is available from 7 a.m. until 8:15 a.m.

      • After school care is available from 3 p.m. until 6:15 p.m.

      • MAACK will not be offered during days off from school, Christmas or Spring break, or early dismissal days.


      • The MAACK program is an extension of Christ the King School. The CK Handbook and disciplinary procedures set forth therein will be followed.

      • Students are not allowed to leave the campus without explicit permission from staff.



    • Parents/Guardians are to accompany children to the main entrance of the school for the morning program.

    • When students are dismissed after school, they are to go directly to the Regency Room with all their belongings.

    • Parents/Guardians will go to the main entrance of the school to pick up their child at the end of the day. (NOTE: There is a special door bell under the main entrance door bell that only rings in the Regency Room- please use that bell when picking up your child(ren).

    • Complete information for those authorized to pick up sick children are to be listed on the Releasing Children from MACCK form.


    • Students are permitted to bring their own breakfast. Breakfast will not be provided.

    • Students may work on assignments, read a book, or play with provided games and puzzles.


    • Students will be provided a snack.

    • Depending on the weather and gym schedule, students will be allowed supervised time

      outside or in the gym for recreational activity.

    • Students will be given time to complete homework assignments independently.

    • Books, games, puzzles, and other similar activities will be provided. Students may bring their

      own books for independent reading. However, hand-held games and other electronic devices are not allowed. CK is not responsible for lost or stolen items.


    • In case of a serious accident, parents will be notified immediately and 911 will be called if necessary.

    • If a child becomes sick during MACCK, parents will be expected to make arrangements for the child to be picked up immediately so as not to infect the other children.


    • Billing is done on a monthly basis.

    • Charges are added onto Smart Tuition.

    • In the event that a family becomes: 1) $100 delinquent in payment or 2) more than a month

      behind in payment, Dr. Riordan will be notified. Dr. Riordan will contact the parents informing them that the bill must be paid immediately or the child(ren) will not be allowed to participate in the program until the bill is paid in full. A $10 late fee will be added to the total bill.

    • Payments are separate from tuition.
