Meet Mrs. Maxwell
My name is Kristen Maxwell and I'm so excited to be in my third year as the junior high religion teacher at Christ the King! I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with a Mathematics minor from Saint Mary's College, Notre Dame, IN and my Master's Degree in Pastoral Studies (Theology) from Loyola University Chicago. Catholic education and faith formation are near and dear to my heart. I have taught third, fourth, and fifth grade self-contained classes; second through eighth grade reading and math remediation and enrichment; high school theology; and junior high math. In addition, I have worked as a high school youth minister and coordinator of religious education. The three years before my time at CK, I taught fourth grade at St. Christina. My family and I belong to Most Holy Redeemer Parish. My husband teaches math and coaches soccer at Marist High School; my daughter Grace is a junior and my son Patrick is a freshman at Marist. I'm looking forward to another great year with my students and their families! Together we will grow in our faith and service to others.
